Dashboards and grant reports
Read de-identified counts from the same records advocates use each day, then check and export the report.
Program dashboards with shared filters and de-identified counts
Filter by date, program, service type, referral source, partner and status. Read unduplicated participants, services, referrals by status and first connections.
Open the program dashboard
Select the date range and program. Add service type, referral source, partner or status filters when you need a narrower view.
Read the counts
Read unduplicated participants counted once in the period, services delivered, referrals at each status and first connections. Sent referrals are not counted as connections.
Open the referral funnel
View referrals from sent to closed and the share that reached first connection, by partner and month. Use the funnel to find referrals waiting for acceptance.
Check small groups
Look for groups labeled suppressed. Small groups that could identify a person are suppressed or grouped and labeled as suppressed.
Locked VAWA and VOCA report templates with checks before export
Choose a locked template, set the period and program, review counts and check data quality before you export.
Choose the report
Open the grant report list and choose the VAWA or VOCA summary. Read the counting rule and the fiscal blackout date stated on the report.
Set period and program
Enter the period start and end, choose the program and run the report. Review counts by service type and broad victimization category.
Check data quality
Review missing fields, small groups and referral statuses. Fix the source records, then run the report again. Do not file a report with unresolved checks.
Export the checked report
Choose the format and sections, preview the field list and download the de-identified file. Keep the snapshot of the counts as run. A later correction creates a new run.
- Reports show de-identified counts only, with no names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, dates of birth, notes or message content.
- Unique participant counts use the program unduplicated identifier, so the same person is counted once in a period.
- Partner roles see only aggregate counts for referrals sent to their own agency.
Data dictionary, reconciliation and transition export
Trace each count to a plain definition, reconcile with authoritative records and hand over a complete copy at contract end.
Data dictionary
Look up each field, its plain definition, allowed values, funder mapping and whether it is identifying. Check the dictionary before you add a field to an export.
Reconciliation check
Compare SafeConnect counts with authoritative record totals for the same period. Note any difference and the reason, then save the check with the checker name.
Transition export
Generate the complete export package with the dictionary and checklist for contract end. Log who ran it, the purpose and the period.
Preview the field list
Open the export center, choose a saved report, choose the format and sections, preview the field list and state the purpose before you download.
Download within the window
Download the de-identified file before it expires. Default exports exclude names, contact details, exact dates of birth, addresses, free-text notes and message content.
